Why? Just like a child who says the blessing on an apple forces his father to give him the apple so that he could fulfill the blessing, so too when we make the blessing before we blow the Shofar, we ‘force; Hashem to hear our cries and fulfill our needs.

Lea was an outstanding role model of Emunah in the face of adversity.
