Why? Just like a child who says the blessing on an apple forces his father to give him the apple so that he could fulfill the blessing, so too when we make the blessing before we blow the Shofar, we ‘force; Hashem to hear our cries and fulfill our needs.
This project is dedicated by Denise, Eliezer & Mikki Robbins
In memory of Holocaust survivor Lea Hochman
Leah bas Asher Zelig, O.B.M.
Lea was an outstanding role model of Emunah in the face of adversity.
Her words and actions inspired in others a love of Yiddishkeit and faith in Hashem.
May her memory be a blessing.
